Beauties and The Beast

Fans of the Dallas Wings are questioning the leadership of coach Chris Koclanes; and apparently so are the players.

The Dallas Wings.

A roster consisting of some of the greatest talents in women’s basketball, but their stats don’t reflect it. With a record of 6-17 and some of the greatest players in the league, including Paige Bueckers, Dijonai Carrington, and Li Yueru, you can only wonder if a faulty coach is to blame. Unfortunately, the team is coached by one of the worst coaches in the league, Chris Koclanes.

Now of course, you can call this a controversial take, but even the players have been left puzzled by his coaching choices.

A video has gone viral across the WNBA community of players Paige Bueckers, Arike Ogunbowale, and Haley Jones in disbelief over the coach’s play decision amidst being down 10 points with 59 seconds left in the game. Now being a defensive specialist, some of the most educated players in the WNBA shouldn’t be questioning your calls. As a result, the Wings went the rest of the game without a point on the board and left fans questioning the leadership appointed by general manager Curt Miller.

The Wings will now face the Las Vegas Aces at home this Sunday. Will anything change for the team? Will players start to question Authority? All hands lie in the hands of the wings.
